OREVANTA CNC treats project information as information provided for a specific business and manufacturing purpose. Drawings, CAD files, technical requirements, design information and supporting project materials should be used only as reasonably necessary to review, quote, coordinate and complete the relevant project.

This page describes OREVANTA CNC's general approach to confidentiality and project information. It does not replace a separately signed non-disclosure agreement or other project-specific contract.

Module 01

Project Information and Permitted Use

1. Purpose and Scope

This page applies to project-related information provided to OREVANTA CNC in connection with an inquiry, request for quotation, engineering review, manufacturing discussion or active project.

Its purpose is to explain the general boundaries used when handling technical and commercial information associated with a customer project.

2. Project Information Covered

Depending on the project, information provided to OREVANTA CNC may include:

  • 2D technical drawings.
  • 3D CAD files, including STEP or STP files.
  • PDF specifications and supporting documents.
  • Material requirements.
  • Quantity requirements.
  • Critical dimensions and tolerances.
  • Surface finish or finishing requirements.
  • Inspection and documentation requirements.
  • Commercial or project information relevant to the inquiry or order.

3. How Project Information Is Used

Project information may be used where reasonably necessary for activities directly connected with the relevant inquiry or project.

These activities may include engineering review, clarification of requirements, quotation, manufacturing evaluation, manufacturing coordination, production, inspection, quality documentation, delivery communication and project completion.

Project information should not be used for purposes unrelated to the project for which it was provided.

Module 02

Access, Sharing and Information Protection

4. Access and Sharing Boundaries

Where reasonably necessary to evaluate, quote or complete a project, relevant information may be made available to personnel, manufacturing resources or related service providers involved in the project process.

Only information reasonably necessary for the relevant task or project stage should be provided for that purpose.

Project information is not intended to be distributed more broadly than reasonably necessary to review or complete the relevant project.

5. Public Disclosure, Case Studies and Marketing

Customer-specific drawings, CAD files, design information, project details, customer names or identifiable project materials should not be publicly displayed or published as marketing content without appropriate authorization.

This includes public case studies, promotional materials, portfolio content or other uses that could reveal project-specific information.

6. Reasonable File Handling

OREVANTA CNC applies reasonable access and file-management practices appropriate to the information and project being handled.

No specific information-security certification, encryption standard, server configuration, access-control system or other technical safeguard should be understood as being provided unless it is expressly stated on this website or otherwise confirmed by OREVANTA CNC.

Module 03

NDA Requests and Customer Options

7. NDA Available Upon Request

If a project involves sensitive drawings, proprietary designs, confidential specifications or other information that requires formal confidentiality terms, an NDA may be requested before detailed files are submitted.

The scope, obligations, duration and other terms of confidentiality should be confirmed in the NDA or other agreement signed for the specific project.

This webpage is a general confidentiality statement. It is not itself a signed NDA and does not replace project-specific contractual terms agreed by the parties.

8. What You Can Share Initially

If you prefer to limit the amount of sensitive information shared during the first discussion, you may begin with only the information reasonably necessary for the initial review.

Depending on your project, you may choose to:

  • Provide only the drawings or information needed for an initial manufacturing review.
  • Remove or withhold information that is not yet necessary.
  • Clearly identify information that you consider sensitive.
  • Discuss confidentiality requirements before submitting detailed project files.
  • Request an NDA before providing sensitive information where appropriate.

9. Contact and Formal Agreements

If you would like to discuss confidentiality, request an NDA or clarify how project information should be handled before submission, contact OREVANTA CNC directly.

When you are ready to submit manufacturing requirements, you may use our Upload Drawing or Request Quote pages.

Any formal NDA, quotation terms, purchase order terms or other contractual obligations applicable to a specific project should be confirmed separately between the relevant parties.
